The forums operate on a three strike system. You will be given three warnings, and if you continue to break the rules and disregard the moderators, you will be banned.
The procedure is as follows;
1. You are given a warning which will be posted in your active thread and sent to you via private message. Your post may be edited or removed depending on the level of the offence.
2. Should you commit a second offence on the forums within the same month, you will be given another warning similar to the first and any posts which break the rules will be removed. You will also be banned for a period of two weeks and placed on three months probation when you return.
Please note that you won't receive a second warning unless you have commited two offences within the same month. Instead, you will receive another first warning. However, if you abuse this as a loophole, you will be banned instantly.
3. If you commit another offence within the three month probation period after your second warning, you will be permanently banned from the forums.
If you have been permanently banned, you can appeal for the ban to be lifted if six other forum users with no warning strikes on their records vouch for you. Multiple accounts created by one person or accounts less than three months old do not count. However, the final decision is made by the admins and mods.
4. If there is a unique case not covered by the rules, an admin will handle it personally.
Please note: If you receive a warning, you can contact an admin or moderator if you feel it was unfair, but be polite. Insults and bad manners will not help you lift the warning.
Remember, you don't have to worry about this if you're not breaking the rules!
